The front suspension on my Montero Sport has always puzzled me. It's noisy when I go over bumps (creaking noise) especially if I come in at an angle. The shop have looked at it and they said nothing is loose. Could the sway bar underneath be causing the noise?

Sometimes, you hear a thump when turning the wheel also.

Hey Jafar,

I have also had that thump your talking about but mainly when I'm 4X4ing. Almost sounds like the tire is rubbing on the wheel well when I turn. I think maybe at least that a minor block lift would help and maybe have a lube done. I have been thinking of getting a lift on min but haven't seen anything other than blocks for the leaf springs so far. Hope this helps 8).

Try lubing all of grease fittings on the front end with a grease gun.
