Hi there! I'm a new Airtrek Turbo owner - I'm enjoying the car although I am rather surprised at the high fuel consumption.
I would like to know whether any of you out there can recommend a workshop I can go to (in KL or Singapore) to boost up the power of the engine? I was told that it just requires a new "chip" in the engine management system?
Thanks!

Hi,

What you need is a SAFC. It might help slightly but it all depend on how you drive yout ATR.

Let's join us at the Airtrek club at www.airtrek.com.my

I will be there more often.

See you there.

what u can do is remaping air/fuel on ur ECU, first u will remove ur speed cut and other like boost cut , from 1.1bar boost up to 1.4..1.5..1.6..1.7..if u want. rev limit from 7200rpm to 8200rpm or more, this wii give u more power to ur car, and final u can also tune the fuel map this wii also top up ur car H/P .. u can call me at 0162674621 kent. my price is remove speed cut RM 288, remove speed, boost and rev cut is RM388.remaping with above service fr RM788 - 988. thank you

Where r u from bro, could u pls tune my car as well, i want speed 250kmh,my friend has told me that our engine is very strong and his car can follow bmw at 260. so 250 should be ok right? boost 1.7 bars (pls try your best bro), rev until 8.5k rpm can right??? As i know my car can rev up to 9k rpm not a problem, but never mind, set it at 8.5k rpm i'm already happy, oh, one more thing, i need to tune my fuel as well, currently full tank of gas only manage to get 400++ km, if can up to 500++ km would be better!!!! pls PM me bro, i'm really interested on this!!!!!

Thanks & regards.
