well i have just got a gsr-x sigma(gliant) 1982 and it the the whole car mising the moter and box and lume, what i want to know is ....

my car dosnt have inderpendent rear suspension or an lsd or disc brakes , it is the same "body shell" with different setup, the sigma comes stock with a solid beam axil and drums coil over suspension .now what i have read is that the gsr-x sigmas have a different gear box so that drive shaft is shorter , but my sigma is stock so what i have in mind is swaping the whole back end over including the drive shaft so it all fits in there nicley, but what i dont know is if it will "bolt in"

now who out the has done this conversion or knows anything about it , i would like to have IRS, but i would settle for just an lsd , i have been told there is 3 different types of l200 dif heads and the medum size one will fit but bugger me if i am going to go and ask the parts guy for a medium size diff head for a 82 sigma .

to cut to the chase can anyone tell me if i get convert me sigma to get IRS back end or even just and LSD

dan

hey man helping you out alot tonight :P

i have a disc brake rear end in my 1982 GJ and it all bolts up man to most of the siggy in the same body shape GK,GN etc

you will need to find a wrecked GSR or someone wrecking a GSR to get the disc brake rear end but yes it all bolts up if yah can get it

NO LSD been through this lots of times on different sites and its not possible sorry :(

BUT howeva me and my other siggy fanatic are gonna cut down to skyline sillouhete (spellig) diffs and fabricate them on will tell you how it goes when done!!

hay on thing i spotted out is that you said you had a 1982 GSR? they did'nt make a 82 GSR  they only made a 84 GK GSR which you will need the diff out of.
