I recently bought the aforementioned omnifi DMP1 system for my eclipse. But I am having loads of trouble installing it. First of all I dont want to use a FM transmitter or modulator to run the system. I want the speakers to be spliced between the infinity audio system that my car has and the DMP1 system I bought. Now the problems that I am facing right now are

1) I dont have the anti-theft code, so how to get hold of one without paying for it.
2) The DMP1 system comes with an RCA adaptor which has two outputs, and I dont know how to splice them into 5 so that they can be attached to all the 5 speakers of my car. I need the wiring diagram of my audio system
3) I dont know what is the right place to mount the 20 GB hard disk.

I have some more problems.

4) I have just 1 key, and cant afford to spend $100 for another one.
5) What is the cheapest place to get a keyless entry system installed.

Any help would be really appreciated.

This is what I am talking about

4) Look at ebay...you can get a cheap key off there...go to wal-mart to get it cut(they did it for free for me)...then go to the stealership if you want it programmed to start ur car(Cost 30 or 40 bucks).

5) If you know someone that works at best buy...i work there and got keyless entry for 70 bucks.

1, 2, 3....i have no idea.

1) To get the anti-theft code, pull the radio out of the dash, get the serial number off the top, and call a dealership. Any regular dealership should have no problem pulling it up for you, and if they insist that they must charge you, just call a different one, I know for a fact that where I work, we'll look it up for you...

2) You run the wires from the DMP to the "AUX" or "Changer" slot in your head unit, your head unit controls your speakers, the DMP just sends audio information to the head unit.

3) I have it mounted behind my rear seat (drive 1999 3000GT), since Rockford suggests mounting it vertically for "best results" whatever that means... it isn't a problem, any time you have to take it out to update, just pop the hatch and take it out, or better yet, utilize the Wi-Fi inherent to the unit.

4) Be careful of keys cut at places that aren't dealerships. That's great if they work, but from what I have seen, they work all of 20% of the time, whereas the key from the dealership works EVERY time... (if you think your key is expensive, check out the 2006 Eclipse key that has the keyless transmitter attached, it's likely to be a $300 key...)

5) Best Buy, Circuit City, Local Stereo Shop *THAT YOU TRUST* Whomever does it, make sure you watch them do it, and make sure that they do a competent job...

Hope that helps, I realize I may have been a few days late...
