Hello all,

I found a problem today with my 2003 Outlander XLS, neither the engine fan nor the A/C fan are working in the engine compartment. I checked the fuse it is fine. Has anyone else had this problem on the Outlander and if so what was the problem or what should I check?

Thanks
Kenneth Carr

Did you have the fan controller recall done yet?

I didn't know there was a recall, it hasn't come up when I punch in my vehicle to check for recalls. What's the problem with it?

Thanks

OK, I called up Mitsu and there is a recall out for my car. I don't know why it wasn't on the NTSA site. I described the problem to them and they think it is absolutely the controller. Even better news is that even if the controller is good, they said since there is a recall on the fan system, they will repair it free of charge even if the controller tests good.

Thanks
