Hi all, new to the forum.

I just recently acquired a 99 mirage de sedan. The car is a 1.5l with auto trans and only 77,000 miles. Since the car wasn't driven very much I gave it a full tune up. I'm happy with the gas mileage but not the power. I know the 1.5 is pretty small and isn't going to do much more but is there any fairly cheap mods that I can do to boost its power?

im afraid there is very litle you can do since you have a transmission instead of a gearbox since the transmission eats up all the power for the 1500 cc engine and specially the 1300cc one
my opinion is anything under 2,0 lt engine should not have a transmission
get a gearbox for start is what i would recomend with:)

For the 1.5 im not sure of the mods , the 1.8 actually has a bit of mods, .Cold air intake systems for the 1.5 are really cheap tho as yu dont have to have an AFM adapter connector like the 1.8 model. WUt are yu looking engine mods mainly?
