Drives: 1993 mitsubishi RVR 2L TDI

hiya,
have a '93 model RVR TDI (chassis n8ws005533) which needs regassing. i've a friend who's an A/C engineer who can recharge the system, but he needs the gas type and ammount. any ideas?
