Has anyone ever converted their Manual Temperature controls to the Automatic Temperature Control system on the Montero Sport or like model? I plan on attempting this in the very near future. I have all of the parts I need except for the plastic cowel that goes around the controller itself. It has been nearyly impossible to get it. I am in the US and this part is only sold in Europe because it is only made for European vehichles. The part was made for the 97 and up Challenger and it is also made for the 2005 Montero Sport. Unfortunatly the dealers pretend they can only look up parts by a chassis number which is not true. I have the same program they use to look up parts (CAPS), I just don't have access to the models I need to get the part number. If anyone can help, or give me any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.
