Hey, my girlfriend has an '04 EVO VIII, she just put the K&N Intake on, with the Turbo XS Type-H BOV. It has a weird sound to it. doesn't have the normal sound a BOV makes (the tssshhhhh). just wondering if anyone has this combination, or had a similar problem. The car is compeletly stock besides those to modifications.

during acceleration, it sounds pretty bad ass, but as soon asl you let off the clutch/gas, the turbo bark is really loud, and there's just a weird noise that i haven't ever heard before. all the hoses are tight, nothing is loose or not connected. i don't get it.

any help?

thanx

I have had the same set up on my EVO8. It is completely normal. I've switched to the turbo xs RFL BOV though. I know I am not supposed to, but I have it tuned really well.

Don't worry, it's normal.
