Hello everyone.

I wanted to inform all of you to my dealings with a dealership based in Southern California. The dealership is Norco Mitsubishi. Last September, (9/2004) I bought a used Galant from the dealership. The car I purchased had 75,000 miles on it. As many of you are aware, the timing belt needs to be changed around every 60,000 miles. I had asked the sales man if it had been changed and he informed that it was and everything on the car meets manufacture recommendations.

To make a long story short, I was lied to. The timing belt was not changed and when it started to go bad it took other components of the engine with it. The repair cost was $829.37.

I called Norco Mitsubishi to inquire in the service records, but I did not receive much help. I was informed by the General Manager that Norco Mitsubishi sells cars from their lot that does not meet Mitsubishi recommendations for the maintenance of their cars.

I want to warn you that the salesman at this dealership will tell you anything to you so you will purchase a car. They are not honest and they eventually hurt some of their customers. This is just my humble opinion based on what I experienced.

On a positive note, my car was repaired at Riverside Mitsubishi and they did a great job! Very professional!
