I bought the Pilot PS-961W fog light istall kit because it is remote controlled, and therefore with no wiring going to the cab, install should be uneventful and quick. I just want to make sure I mount them in the best possible fashion with only one try. The front bumper has holes beneath each headlight for them, but should I screw the mounts in the top area so they are "hanging" or bottom area so they are "cradled"? The brackets are , of course, stationary, but allow the lights to be adjusted up or down after install. Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Most people mount them in the top area but it really does not matter.

Hey thanks! I am trying that now, seems there isn't much room to work with since the bumper doesn't have much "slack" on the inside, any idea how the stock lights are mounted?

They have custom brackets that attach on the backside of the bumper.

Hi!
Did you succeed in installing the lights?
Where you placed the switch?
I can't find holes in the front bumper under the headlights.
(I have the same Lancer ES 2003)
What brackets you've finally used?
Thank you.
