Pardon my ignorance, i'm looking to buy a GTO, but have'nt yet seen a 3000GT. So whats the difference ? Is one better than the other or is it down to personal taste ?

Well, here in the states Mitsu can't sell a "GTO" because the name has already been taken.

So they took the car and changed the badging to say 3000GT.

The turbo Euro spec GTO may differ from a 3000GT by the 13g turbo instead of having a 9b. but the rest is pretty much cosmetic.

EDIT: Also, here in the states you cannot get a normally aspirated all wheel drive version. I believe that in Europe it's possible.
