yo adam!
im from auckaz! i own a 6112tt galant 1992.8! mean beasts. i love it.

just put on a 3"exhuast system from both turbos. cost me $1300 at pit stop, lowered 3", k&n intake manifold, tial bov, 2x 43mm tial wastegate, and soon to have the engine reconditioned. these engines give out pretty easy. i have had it dyno'd at 310bhp. before the mods it was 230bhp.

very pleased with the results.

very powerful engine pulling a quarter of 13.20 seconds. pity the galant body is so heavy! :D

im in the process of purchacing a LINK computer managment system. they dont come cheap but should be able to tune my car to around 350bhp. cant wait.

see you round!

Hey guys - Im also from NZ - Palmy to be accurate. Just about to post some questions about central locking... long story short - removed a factory stereo, removed it, turned the car on and the fuse connector was loose, touched metal, sparked and now the central locking wont work. I figure it's a fuse but can't be sure...

Howdi,

Phil from Palmy here - have a 1995 RVR Super Sportsgear (Turbo 5-spd manual). Great wagon with plenty of get up and go, All-wheel-drive, accessories etc; slightly bongo-wagonish but at least it won't be on the hazard list for getting nicked!

Have dropped King-springs in which have slightly lowered vehicle (was never built for off-roading anyhow), and have improved handling big-time. Still room to improve the cornering though.

Anyone out there know where to source a front strut-brace for the RVR turbo (it will need a kink to get around the turbo intercooler air intake)???

Cheers.

Keith here... from the Hawkes Bay..i got two mitsi's a Galant 2 litre glx year 2000... awesome condition with only 55kms.... the other isnt so sensible.. 91 Pajero 3.0 V6 with 220,000km

The Pajero is my choice for fun... it can go anywhere and it is a tank.... no one messes with me.. i can do the speed limit without any tail gating hassle..... kick down is there in reserve... it amazes me how this relatively low powered 3 litre motor can shift this 2 tonne beast!... its an awesome drive!

The galant.... well.. i wont lose any sleep owning this beauty... its dependable good looking and reliable... pity i cant find a woman the same!

<---- and a reply to this message, im not too sure if we do play chicken but i haven't seen it and hope not too that craps just crazy dumb :bwekk: ...yea but what i do know is we have em illegal drag racing but the po po's have been gettn a bit hard "****" lol ...tht's coz our stink drag strip (in auckland that is) only has an event for the public like once a year where anyone can get there 1/4 mile timed (boring)

the vr4 featured in my profiles pic is not mine but my little brothers he's in a stink car crew  hahaha im just being a hater that's coz im not to keen on em crews thats all... well being a girl n all i don't know how much bhp he's boosting or what type of wastegate, intercooler, blow off valve or boost guage he's got i don't even know how big his chromes are i know he's gettin a roll cage in (don't know what the frick for) and he's gettin all his plumbing chromed. His **** is pretty slow though its too heavy his 1/4 mile sucked i won't print that on here though its embarrassing i'll til he does some more mods and gets a better time
oh well that's enough braggin until i get myself a nice mitsy

toodles :gunsmilie:

Hi there, have just bought a '97 Legnum ST GDI 1840 and have been told differing stories on what fuel type to put in. Can anyone enlighten us as to whether it takes 91 or 95-96 octane. Cheers.

It will run on any octane rating. 95\96 will give it smoother acceleration and better feul econimy but it will run fine on 91 just dont put deisel in it lol it wont like it.
