Ok, i'm a lil over 20 yr old dude.

I've not been into cars much ever, but now that one of my close relatives died and i got some $$$ from that (nah it wasn't hitman payment :P )..

I'm drooling over Evo IX. In fact, it's the only car i have ever dreamt about (or Evos in general).. :57:

However, i do not even have a drivers licence yet - as i have not had any use for a car, the 1200e price has kept me from driving it.

Let's now say i'd get my card..

Would i be knocking on deaths door if i would get a Mitsubishi Evolution IX MR when it comes to Europe?

All input is welcome. Some offtopic discussion about Evo's for newbies is alright too, i really want to know if i am trying to take a chokingly big bite..

I wouldn't want to have to "practice" with other, cheaper and worse cars. I want the cake! :haha:

Well your finnish.....so you should be a natural born rally driver lol. I think youd be able to handle the car but your only young like me and high performance cars have a tendency to cost alot, have you thought about insurance, service costs,tax,fuel....it all adds up and very fast

just a friendly piece of advice, try to practice with a normal lancer first ;)

you could still get the cake, just make sure you practice first with a cupcake, if you get my drift. take care and drive safe!

maintainance costs tend to be high with the evo, because most likely you'll go through a lot of gas and brake pads and maybe the eventual clutch replacement if you drive it a lot and drive it hard.
