do you know what bar the wastegate spring is? *usually* most external wastegates come with a .4 bar spring(which is about 5.8psi)

no i don't. what i was planning on doing is setting my bov almost all the way open and slowly closing it with a pressure guage so i don't push too much.

just get a .4 bar spring. with that, the most you will run is around 5.8psi. which is fine, even with non-intercooling.

not as long as you tune the car. 5-6psi is fine on the stock fuel system.

if you dont want to take a chance, i think there is a .2 bar spring which is like 3psi. that would be ok to run.

you should upgrade the fuel pump and injectors but its not a requirement when running that low of boost.

ohh....didnt know you had an internal wastegate.

i dont really know how to lower the boost on an internal wastegate. they were never meant to be lowered.

sorry. ask some of the 1G/2G guys(since most stock mitsu turbos are internal wastegated). send a PM to patsevo. he could probably help you out.
