Yeah I figured it'd be a little biased, but I also can't ask people who haven't actually owned/drive a mitsubish regularly now can I?  As for the engine, I thought the 6G74 was only 3.5L?

yeah that was my bad....the engine code is 6G75. the block also comes in the new endeavor.

Ah, OK, that makes more sense. Looks like a solid engine, it'll be interesting to see what people do with it on the aftermarket.

I have a 95 mirage LS 1.8 L . have 240,000 miles on it only thing that went out was a small coolant leak in the head gasket that i replaced myself and car is running perfect as it has done sence i bought it bran new, and wene i had the head off you could still see the hone crosshatch in the cyl bores and that was with 230,000 miles on it so thats dam good. have torn down lots of motors and never seen them looking this way, usualy there is lots of wear on the cyl walls so all i can say is mitsubishi makes dam good motors.

4G63 is all I have to say...why do you think this, the RB26DETT and the B16/18 are such sought after engines to do build-ups? Second, my mom has a Mitsubishi engine in her Stratus R/T, and I had a Mitsu engine in my Shadow...no problems AT ALL.
