New to the forums. Thanks for your assistance.

Tried searching for the procedure to program a new keyless entry fob for my 2001 Eclipse Spyder, but could not find it in the forums or the online manual.

I did find this info in one of the other forums:

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t4827-the...programming.htm

Will these work on the Eclipse?

Anyone know the secret?

Thanks,
Dan

Yes, this is the procedure to use on all current models for the reprogramming. We use a "mutt" at the factory and many of us have our own jumper made instead of using the mutt. The plug is not located behind the fascia, the fascia is the front nose piece or the rear bumper piece, front fascia, rear fascia.

The connector is located on the drivers side under dash, to the right of gas pedal. You just have to make a jumper with a mutt plug.
