I have a 2002 eclypse spyder convertible with the infinity sound system in it, and I want to add a subwoofer and amplifier to it. Is there any way to keep the stock head unit in, and still hook up the amp without the use of a line output converter? Or, where can I get the wiring harness for the head unit so I can put in a stock one? I've seen pictures of it, and there are 4 RCA cables, and a remote turn on wire coming out of one of the pieces on the harness. Do I have to connect them all to my aftermarket head unit?

first off i would recommend that you dont use a stock head unit with subs you dont get the same quality from what i have had experience with. but its all personal choices from that stand point just remember that if you use your stock head unit, to control your gain level on the amp you have to use the bass in the radio and that also pushes up your speakers bass also which could lead to blowing your speakers just be careful
