Alright so i pull up to a stop light on an empty street, the guy looks at me and just starts revving the crap outta his engine and i laugh, hes got a 97' manual probe, while my 99' automatic Mirage revs back...the light turns green but me as a dumba** was looking at the guy so he takes off about one or two seconds before me, hes ahead about two car lengths in first gear, he shifts to second while i do, but right when i hit 45mph or third gear that loser was toast! i was going about 95 while he was still stuck back at about 75, i won by about 4 car lengths! easy kill i would say but idk what to challenge next. :haha:

yeah those probes are dogs. a friend of mine used to have a '97 auto probe GT. we raced one time. it was about a half mile. we get to the start, i turn OFF my car. the guy signals us to go, my friend takes off, and i have to crank my car, shift into first and then go. he was already 3-4 cars ahead. i was ahead of him after about a quarter mile

Yeah people with probes i think are just plain stupid in the first place..1. for thinking they're fast. 2. for thinking they can beat anyone in a race. and 3. for modding one out and trying to make it look cool...sorry but i hate probes

woah, easy on the probe hate... ouchies. I had one. my second car ever.

It had a manual transmission that was fairly bullet proof. The engines are revvy little bastards, and If you launch them hard they just spin and tire hop, but they have a small bit of pick up for 900 dollar cars. :P

Also, any front wheel drive car is slow. sorry. ;)

Im not saying i totaly hate them im just saying i dont prefer them. Yeah almost every FWD car is gunna be slow unless you put a little TLC and money into it ;) then im sure it'll pretty fast.
