Ok, I noticed a slight but noticable whistle between 55-75 mph, most noticably around 68mph. This only happens when I am on the gas though; if I let off it goes away. The car is an 04 Spyder GS (4cyl).

Any thoughts anyone????

Thanks!! :liebe011:

Check the black duct that goes from the top radiator support to the air cleaner and make sure it is seated in all the way in at the air cleaner assembly.

I checked the fit and it seems to be ok. I had a bra on the car and took that off and it still does it.....

it's definetly in the engine though, it only makes the noise when giving it gas at highway speeds..... :auto:

ok, I 've still got a whistle, definetly engine related (not bad seals). It happens between 55+ mph, only happens when I give it gas...if I coast, it goes away, then comes back with gas.....any thoughts? also, I can't be sure, but it seems to come from the passenger side of the car....maybe something to do with the headers or something? the intake airbox seems to be ok...

*UPDATE*

Just installed a AEM CAI and it still whistles~~~~~ any thoughts now?

I read somewhere else that it may be the throttle body? Does that sound right? Is that something that can be fixed under warranty by a dealer?

Thanks!
