If your radio says "Off" it means you entered the wrong audio code three times. To get it to say code again do the following.

1:Turn the key to on or accessory.
2:Push the power button so that the radio display says off.
3:Let the car sit for 1 hour.
4:The radio display will go blank.
5:Turn the radio on and it will say code again.

Example if your code was 2651.
Use the first four radio station preset buttons to enter the code.

1: Push radio preset#1 two times.
2: Push radio preset#2 six times.
3: Push radio preset#3 five times
4: Push radio preset#4 one time.
5: Push either tape or cd button.

 THANK U , THANK U!!!!

I managed to get through step 4 with no problem, but its your step 5 I've been searching for!!!!

AFter I entered the code, either the manual or other forums would go that final step to tell me to push either tape or CD player!!!

Thank you, I sincerely been waiting for an answer before calling the dealership. At least that last step should be in the manual!!!! Oh well, thanks!

please share in case someone else has the same problem.....

Thanks! Wife left dome light on and I got to recharge her battery. I didn't get 'a round tuit' before she felt the need for tunes and entered 3 random numbers... Your process worked and we got her jammin again!

I had this problem... you need to put the key in the ignition and to the accessory position for 1 hour. Make sure that "off" is displaying when you put the key in for the 1 hour tho. After the 1 hour period the "off" should be gone and the display will be blank... now press the power button on the radio and it should now ask for the code again.

Make sure you have the right code before starting this procedure.

Also make sure your car is safe with the key in the ignition... wouldn't want the car to get stolen...

Good luck!

I didnt have to do that, i fiddled with it like 3 times and then it went to the off position, after that i left the cd player itself on for 10 min in the off way then turned it off and it set for 10 min then hit the power and it was back to code
