As I didn't get a door lock remote with my RVR, can anyone please tell me if they are fitted with them?
It has key operated central locking.
Before I hunt for the works to fit an alarm with this function it would help to know the answer . Else I buy an add on for alarm. :liebe011:

They are not standard, I brought a remote locking kit on Trademe for $35 & fitted it myself. Or most alarms have a remote locking interface so it won't cost any extra.

:57: Thanks johnn. Have bought an alarm & has triggering provision as you say, but needed to know if there should have been a std system to tap into or fit extra optional relay.

Would love to know where you connected it to as I have no circuit diagram & markings on both fuse boxes are in Japanese. ( would be great if someone had an english language cover that could be photographed & emailed to make a label from)

Any info on location of connection piont would save me searching. Have fitted rest of system ok.

Mine had a remote door locker thingy when I bought it. It seemed factory fitted, though it may be an option.

I'd like an english translation of the fuse box cover too.

There is a locking control box inder the dash near the fuses, when looking under there lock & ulock the doors & you will find it easily. Then pierce the wires & with a mulitmeter (or 12V lamp) test which wires are live when the doors lock, then which wire is live when they unlock, these are the 2 wires that the locking output on your alarm should be connected to.
