Hello all,

I want to replace the wheels on my RVR with a set of 17". I bought a set off of a Lancer Evo, but the offsets were wrong and adjusting the tracking couldn't compensate? What offsets etc would I need for the RVR? I've worked out that either 235/45r17 or 225/50r17 tyres would be best, but I don't know how to size the wheels.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Soyeb

I have 16x7's on my 1992 Chariot with 225/50 tires. Offset is +45mm. For 17x7.5 I'd try an offset of +40mm or thereabouts.

Check clearances first. Make sure those wheels don't rub the inner wheel wells or the fenders when you're turning full lock. If everything checks out then yeah, 35mm - 38mm ought to be good.
