Has anybody self-installed satellite radio? I am using XM and have to go thru FM channel to get reception. Looking for help with using a direct connection.

Have you tried the xm direct connect to the radio attena? I have an aftermarket sirius installed and purchased the add on antenna router which allows your terestrial attena to plug into a module on the router and then you plug the router into the atenna port on the stock radio. The other end of the router plugs into the aftermarket sirius tuner through the FM OUT port. It prevent interference from other signals and gives a good connection.
