Hi
Did you have problems with your automatic transmission?. I Have a 97' mirage LS and recently I have noticed that the automatic shift from 2 to 3 is very hard. Have you listened something about problems with this automatic transmission?
Thanks

You should change periodically the AT fluid, I don't know the interval, but in the maintenance program appears.
My original problem was the AT had an erratic work in the shift from 2 to 3. The curious thing was that I disconnected the battery for about 4 hours, after that, the problem finished. I don't know what happened, maybe some problem with the AT control (?), but in this moment the AT is working well. My mirage has 35000 miles. I have listened about problems with these AT.
Do you have a similar problem?

please read the following article, maybe it can help you.
