:00000732:  Hi everyone,

I am new here, happily because I really haven't had many problems with my 2000 Eclipse GT. The one that I have had is just really pi$$ing me off. One day, the keyless remote stopped working. Of course, I changed the battery, made sure and even tried putting the battery in backwards for the **** of it, took it apart to make sure there are no cracks or anything.

Where do I begin to look? I have found what I believe is the fuse to the keyless system but can't find one to even try to replace it.

That's what I got.... I'm tired of actually using the key to lock and unlock the doors...... man, we are laaaazy people. ;-)

Thanks in advance,
Sean Smith

do you have an owners manual???...that would be a good place to start... try to reprogram the remote.....or maybe hit up autozone for a fuse, they usually have them.....

Do you have any other remotes for the car? Do they work? Sometimes the metal contact needs to be bent tighter against the battery.
