Do you notice any smell to it? Does it fog up the windshield? Any water on the passenger side floor board? We had some initially when we started building them that had the same problem. I will talk to the ac guys in plant here Monday to look at what was going on.

Hey Vultar,

I never noticed a smell to it and havent noticed any water yet but sometimes it would slightly fog the windshield if coming out of dash vent.

If you hear anything let me know thanks alot for responding! ;-)

If it smells sweet it could be a leaking heater core check the coolant level and see if it is low.

I also had the same problem. AC on, very hot day (Waco Texas). Mist/Smoke coming out of vents. Turns out it was a mist (water vapor) and that actual frost had built up inside fan housing, decreasing airflow out the vents to the point of almost complete blockage! I turned on the heat (not fun on a +110F day) and watched the mist pour out! As the mist disapated and decreased, the air flow from the vents increased dramatically. With all that said, it was a onetime event for me. Yours sounds like a repeat. But, like other said, if it dissapates, its water mist, not smoke. If it smells sweet, its antifreeze which is a leaking heater core. Other than that it sounds harmless.

Mine did the same thing on an especially hot day in Utah, no water, just mist from the vents.... took it to the dealear they were baffled and told me that if it happened again they would pressure test the system...etc. It only happened that one time so it must have been the ice build up.

Just a guess but I think it may be where the fins are located ya know where the air has to blow across em they look like radiator fins, I think they have a drainage hole under them it may be plugged up.
Don't ask me where it is all i know is I had the same problem in my big rig and one day I think I cleaned the hole and it stoped :)
Also it may be due to moisture in the air watch ya weather man and see if it only happens when a lot of water is in the air :)
