Can't figure this one out - If I turn on the A/C while at idle, the engine cuts out immediately. I can refire the engine with no problem, though. It also cuts out when I let off the throttle and depress the clutch coming to a stop. Runs fine as long as I don't turn on any climate controls. Don't know how to find the codes. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Idles steady at ~700 or so.

well , has ur belt come off yet ? either way u should check the ac compressor pulley and the compressor if they went out with u otherwise check idle

If the "Service Engine Soon" light is on, then take it to a local Autozone, Advance, etc., and they will check the code for free(most will). this is how you get the code.

The "Service Engine Soon" light isn't on, that's what's odd. I'm thinking about picking up a scan tool. I'm also starting to think there may be something wrong with the compressor that's adding extra drag.
