I recently purchased a set of APC Next Gen Euro tail lights for my 04 Eclipse. The box says for 00 and up, but after pulling off my stocket lights I discovered that the sock on the wiring harness doesn't fit.

I'm sure everyone here already knows this, but there are two bulbs to the tail light. My stock lights have 2 sockets with 4 connector slots/pins on each. However, these APC lights have two holes - one with 3 slots, one with 4. Neither of my 4 slotter sockets will fit and obviously I'm not gonna get either into the 3 slot hole.

So, now what? I'd like to make these things work. My only guess is that these APC lights were manufactured before the 04 model came out, so at the time the packaging was correct in saying that they would fit anything post 00. After doing a little research, I found these lights listed online as being for 00-02.

I thought that I might be able to get the wiring out of an earlier model. Is there any danger in doing this? I'm not savvy on electrical stuff and I don't want to blow anything. Does anyone have a definite idea of what model year I should get or where I can get them?

Here's the front: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/trigger_x/tailfront.jpg)

Here's the back: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/trigger_x/tailback.jpg)

As you can see, the main culprit is those holes where the socket goes in. My wiring harness has two 4 pin sockets. These lights don't have the appropriate gaps.

I wasn't aware that APC was crap . . . Do you have some suggestions for alternatives? I paid 230 bucks altogether for these . . . . I'm probably gonna take these back if I can't get them on my car.
