GDay everyone!
I own a 2003 Outlander and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with fitting an ECU chip to enhance the performance characteristics of the engine. I was thinking of something like a Unichip that piggybacks on top of the standard computer chip and thus can be removed without altering any of the original wiring. Any input would be much appreciated, thanks!

The unichip is workable on the car. no big issues but do be careful on the engine check lights.

Is there a way of reprogramming the ecu ,instead of the Unichip piggy back thingy

I had a LS1 and they had a program that allowed the program to be modified and reloaded into the compurer.

 Not sure about re programing the ECU. I prefer to use a piggu back chip so I can remove it when I change the vehicle. I don't trust anyone "playing" with the stock computer settings.... Warranty etc...
I will probably have to contact Croydon Autosports in Sydney and go from there...
Thanks anyway :)
