Yes,it was Hyundai and its Sonata and Elantra cars that got nabbed a few years back.Best to my knowledge,Mitsu has never been blamed of overstating HP.I think they actually underrate their engines.(Sorta like in the musclecar days where HEMIs and 340s were way underrated for insurance reasons).

i hope mitsubishi underates their cars, my talon dl w/the 1.8 is rated at 92 hp! yeah go ahead and laugh, i already know its pitiful

Hyundai was also guilty with the Tiburon. If you read anything about it from 2 years ago, it had 181HP. Now, it's 171HP ESTIMATED!
