Hi everyone. New to the forum. I own a 2005 Lancer ES. Someday I may put a turbo in it, but that's a far in the future undertaking.

I recently purchased a complete Infinity Sound System from a Mitsubishi Ralliart (CD Deck, amp, subwoofer). I hooked up the stereo and it powered on, but there was no sound from the radio or CD.

Is there extra wiring that is needed, just to run the CD player, even without the Sub and amp? Or is the deck just defective?

Thanks for any helpful responses.

Mike

How did you wire it? The stock wiring, as far as I know, has to run through the amplifier. I am not sure exactly how it is wired, mittech should be able to help you out with that one.

Basically, I wanted to see if the stereo worked, so I plugged it into the factory harness (not through the amp). Since, I didn't get an audio signal, I figured that I needed the amp hooked up to run to the stereo, in order to get a signal.

I since bought the cable that goes from the amp to stereo. Now I just need to figure out what I need wired to the amp and stereo.

Also, does anyone know where the amp is suppose to be mounted?

Thanks for any help.

The speakers hook up to the amp which hooks up to the stereo. Again, I have very little experience with factory high-end stereos. I am used to aftermarket.

Thanks guys.

Well, I broke down and decided to purchase a subscription to www.alldatay.com for a year.

Now I have the factory wiring for the Lancer ES and Ralliart, both with and without the factory Infinity Upgrade.

So, if anyone needs a wiring diagram, or other part inquiries for an 04 Lancer, let me know.
