Hi, I am hoping someone can tell me is there a trick to replacing the radiator on my L300 1600 manual van,I am a novice but need my work van on the road.Radiator repair bloke tells me it is a very tricky job,I don't think he wants job.I can get radiator from wreckers for$75 with 3 month warrantee,Ithink I could do it but just want to check for hidden tricks before I start.I would really apreciate any help you guys can give me.Wish I had known about this site years ago,I have struggled through on my own with this van for about 20 years,it has been a fantastic workhorse,240,000 K's and still going, starting to blow a bit of smoke though.
Regards,Bob.

A good trick is to remove the fan before you remove the radiator. Other than that, just be careful that the core doesn't hit anything on the way in (not going to happen with a smidgen of care). Not hard at all, particularly with a sirius engine.
