Hi there,

The interior light of my 1999 Space Star 1.3 drained my battery (2,4V). Friends fired it up with their car and start-cables.

The battery is not dead, but would not recharge. We were able to get halfway to our dealer, then it was empty again. Our dealer checked the cabling, dynamo, battery; they were all in order. After a computer reset, the battery charged without any problems.

Q: Is this a normal problem with these cars? Can we reset the computer ourselves?

greetings,

Arthur

I thought the computer reset was just a case of disconnecting the battery for half an hour and then reconnecting???
