Normally check engine light lights on for few seconds and then goes off when you turn ignition key...

Since few weeks my check engine light goes off only after the engine is started... What could be the problem and what should I do?

This still sounds normal to me. If you had a hard code the light will stay on.

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for about ten second, but make sure you have your radio code just in case your radio need to be reprogram.

It may also be a good ideal to ensure both battery post are clean before reconnection.

Mine did that for while but I had to disconnected the battery and since it's been put back in, it's fine.
