The car is a bargain at 27 and change. have had it 2 months now and love it torque steer is not an issue with the traction control on . Car turns alot of heads, does use alot of fuel must burn premiun at 10.5 compression. Does anyone know where to get the specs on this engine example is the crank forged etc.

look up information on the 2005+ V6 Galant or the 2005+ Endeavor. they both have the same engine as the 4G V6.

Attached Image I have been looking for weeks cant find anything on motor but genreal info I found this on torque steer from automobile mag.

What impressed me most, other than the Eclipses relentless acceleration, is its almost complete lack of torque steer - a tugging on the steering wheel that often comes with powerful, front-wheel drive cars. What does Mitsubishi understand about engineering front-wheel drive cars that eludes Nissan, for instance? Its manually-actuated Maxima can be a handful when hard on the throttle, darting into the opposing lane if you're not holding firmly onto the wheel with both hands. I cant say what the difference between the two cars steering linkages and drivelines are, but once again Mitsubishi got the Eclipse right, and resultantly its a joy to drive fast.

Yeah I've heard mixed reactions about the butt of the car. Some don't like it, but some think it's sexy! I wonder if it's related to whether or not you like... big... butts and you cannot lie
