nope ... i got my 06 eclipse GT last June ... i was 16 ... and for all of you about to say ... did your daddy buy it for you lol ... no he didnt i have been working since i was 12 and my dad said if you want a nice car when you turn 17 or 18 you better get a job cause im only going to get you a car that gets you from point A to point B ...

needless to say in 4-5 years i saved up 10k working when i could ... got a base GT and since i got it 2 weeks after they came out in June i sure did pay the price ... everything said and done i will end up paying either just shy of 30k or just over 30k ... not bad for a 17 year old right ? ? ?

Im at work now ... scored an office job and im making $10 an hour ... going to be a senior in High school heh ... But yea i was going to get an 05 Mustang GT cause ive always loved mustangs but the dealer by me tried to screw me over and i went looking else where ... saw and drove this car and fell in love ... ordered it and a few weeks later there she was ...

Turned 50 in March and loving the empty nesting! For the first time in what seems for ever, I can drive what I want to instead of what is practical family transportation!

To the two youngen's up there who have paid their own way, I really do respect you guys. I hate it when people's parents buy them a brand new car. My woman's parents did it, and it took her 2 years to respect the car until I talked to her about it! I wish there were more people like you two!

I dont know if they were making me feel better about getting raped on the price but whatever i paid and i love it...payments are huge but ive invested in a project to cover my costs of owning the new car so I wont really be feeling the hit...anyhoo
