I am turning 30 in about 2 months... my wife claims it's a midlife crisis car, but that just isn't true. I had a 99 Eclipse and sold it for a motorcycle in 02, THAT was a 'speed' decision... this time (just bought an 07 GS Spyder) it was entirely because I just like the way the eclipse feels... and I test drove all models.. yes I loved the speed the GT gave out, but I just can see the traffic tickets lining up in the back of my head, so I figured I'd get the GS spyder instead and just take it slow and have some fun... plus, the rockford fosgate helps.

36 here. I also own 2 Camaros: a 96' RS and an 02' convertible (both 3.8's). The RS is highly modified and runs 11's. The convertible is a great summer car. I bought the GS for commuting and everyday use. It's awesome.

Ok, I know this is off-topic, so here: :offtopic: and...I am NOT picking a fight. But how in the HELL did you get 11's with a 3800 Series II engine WITHOUT blowing gaskets?

Well I don't have the 06 eclipse, but I have the 07 galant ralliart if that counts, and I am 27, but I also have a 96 dodge avenger, that is currently a project car, and a 68 camaro with the 327 and also the 4 speed muncy aka rock crusher, that I am restoring. I was gunna buy the 07 GT, but then my GF surprised me with we are having a baby, so I went with the bigger car, can you see someone putting all the baby stuff in the trunk and a car seat in the back of those things.

I'm 48. I just got my GT last week -- it's a far cry from the Pacifica I was driving. With a family, I thought I was being practical. This is much more fun! The family can use my wife's Infiniti FX-35.

I'm 28. Bought my 06 at the end of July of '05. Its been nothing but problems for me but I will still own it until the day it gets destroyed or the day I die. Its a great car otherwise and I love it.

42 yrs., picked up my '07 Spyder GT w/auto and aero kit last week. What a great car...only get to drive it 2 miles back and forth to the train station, but make up for it on the weekends!!! Well, I do leave earlier now and come home 15 min later, to maximise the time I get to drive the Spyder with the top down. Not looking forward to late fall/winter.
