Hi folks,
well I've just had bit of a shock, my suspension exploded!!! VERY LOUD BANG looked around the car and there was oil covering the front wheel.
Lucky I was stopped!
So does anyone know if it was a common problem, in which case I might be able to get a seal kit or do you reackon it could need a new shock? I'm just a bit worried its going to cost more than the cars worth as its all electronically controlled hydraulics.

Any ideas/suggestions (fixable or not, would some normal shocks fit?) would be great.

I've got just over a month to fix it before the mot runs out, I really dont want to scrap it as its too good condition.

WOW...if your strut exploded you DEFINITELY need a new one, you can't repair that.
