 I have a Galant viento 1992 1.8 v6 and have found a kit for a 94-98 model however the cars look exactly the same would it possible to fit this kit onto my car or would there be subtle differences in the mounting brackets and that?, I haven't had a look at the bumper setup abd I have found no kits for a 92 galant around
cheers

dude...well...they normally have kits for certain years and makes for a reason...im not sure if its true with all kits...but they make them for certain years because when they have a newer model..even though it make appear to look the same...the base size of the car...might be little bigger or a little shorter...or wider...you can put it on if you want...but it wont fit on that nicely...or it might come up short...or not fit at all...a kit for a hatchback is different for a sedan or coupe...because one is longer or shorter...even though they may all be the same make...the base length might be an inch longer...well im not sure if this is true with your make and model...but this is just what i know from other car body kits...yours might be different...

My cars the same, and like it fits under the 94-98 catergory; i would presume the cars made in 94 are exactly the same as the ones from 92, but i could be wrong

well the generations of galant were started early overseas so in the us we have the 7g 94-98 and 8g 99-03 i know overseas the 8g started around 97/96. I kno some one who got a diamond edition front bumper on his galant....only problem he had was the crash bar on the usdm was to big.....jdm bumper doesnt stick out as mush as the usdm
