im tradin my civic for a 1987 Starion Narrow Body Turo 3 speed Automatic w/OD. and the tranny dosent have first gear. and im wonderin if anybady can tell me where i can find a 5 spd tranny or how much they usually run. sry for the dumb question, but i have no idea where to look. i already ebay'd but no luck

well for one this should be in the starion forums. well anyways you need more then just a 5 speed tranny. u will need the clutch pedal and hard lines. also you will need a flywheel and pressure plate along with a clutch. you will need a 5 speed drive shaft also becasue the auto draveshaft is shorter then the 5 speed one. where are you located? if you are local i have an 88 tranny (the stroger of the years) i would be willing to sell. they noramally run between $100-$250.

ya i noticed that i put it in the wrong one, can a mod move it please. i knew about the pedal, flywheel, and presure plate. but i didnt know about thedrive shaft. im in va. how much are you sellin yours for.

if you want a 5 speed just get another one.

they are relativley cheap and you can find a good one as well.

for now i would just drive that car and find out what breaks.
