Want to get rid of the daytime running lights. Looked in the ETACS, no option in there. You could disconnect the ebrake switch and set it so looks like the ebrake is always on, but I am going to go through the wiring diagram this week to see if I can find another way. If anyone knows, please let me know

Well, if you really want to know, I am going to install a HID conversion kit, and it can sometimes cause problems by constantly sending 8volts to the ingitors during the day.

Red is a staring battery normaly for cars, Yellow is deep cycle (but a lot people use them in there cars, really they are meant to be brought down and recharged) , and Blue is a marine dual purpose, basically a long lasting starting battery.

I am about to hook mine up. The drl lights run at about 8-9 volts on the eclipse. The HIDs I ma installing are rated from 10v to 16v so I will see if there is any problem.

Don't know how this got into a battery discussion, but I installed my HID kit today, worked great. When tapping off the low beam wire for the headlamps, the DRL does not provide enough power to ignite the HIDS, so they are not on until you turn the headlamps on. The H13 HID's I purchased actually produce a very nice pattern with the OE housings.
