I have a 97 eclipse that is making loud popping noises when ever I turn the wheel or go over large bumps I have replaced the CV axels, the lower ball joints, and the tie rod ends on both sides and the noise is still their. I m having a hard time finding the source of the noise becouse i can't duplicate the sound when the car is parked or in the air. Any ideas or suggestions, Thanks.

You've pretty much covered most of the possibilities. The only things left would be sway bar mounts, sway bar end links and upper strut mounts.

Alough an older post for future information for 2g users this pertains to lower control arms and deals with the lower ball joints also .. Eagle had a recall effective for talons alough mitsubishi did not .

I would check your anti-roll bar(sway bar )bushes as we have changed them before for similar complaints
