yeah, I got the silverstar bulbs, they arent that blue or white or whatever, but they are a lot brighter than stock, but they are $20 each bulb, when i need more, I am definately gonna go ebay, search for 3000gt 6 bulbs, get the low, high, and both fog light bulbs all at once, it's not that much, like $20 for all or something rediculous like that.......

are you replacing them coz they're dim. or you just wanted to have new good lookin light? coz i thought maybe you'd like to adjust the voltage regulator, that's the most usual cause of dimming lights.

i just got some really really bright super white lights. they were like 20 bucks for both my low beams. after driving school i found out that any shade of blue is illegal and knowing my luck id get pulled 500 times before i even drove a mile with them because i see a cop everytime i go more than 9 mph over the speed limit

I read that and still dont know what they are talking about, I could just not have the knowledge, but I have never heard anything of it..... I always thought the voltage regulated itself with the regulator and there was no way to adjust it... on a running car it should be about 13.5-14V.......good luck

alright, after i got my new lights, it was brighter but it still wasnt nearly bright. when i stood infront of my car, it didnt even hurt my eyes, it just looked like a white circle. i found out tonight that the reason for that is the light is pointed straight downward towards the ground, and all the light im getting is the reflection off my car. it was like this before and after changing the bulbs, so how do i level out my lights? do i have to take the whole glass casing out or should i just try unscrewing and screwing them back in even tho it was like it before and after i changed the bulbs. its only on my low beams btw, my brights are bright as **** and work perfectly

check them in the day light, look at the direction of the bulbs when you open your hood, I have seen people when they put the lights in, there are 3 tabs, they go in a certain way only, make sure that the tabs are all flush with where they mount, some people put them in and they arent flush, this means they are in crooked, they only go in one way..... with the three tabs, keep trying it until all three tabs are flush with the mounting surface

its flush in, i dont think its when i put the bulbs in thats at the wrong angle, i think its thing i put the bulbs into. theres a little green thing, i forgot the technical name for it, which measures the balance, and the air bubble is all the way at the top, meaning that its angled straight down. i always thought my lights were just dim, but then when i got new ones, you can stand right infront of my car anywhere from 1-30 feet and it wont hurt your eyes at all because the light goes straight down and all the light i see is a reflection. its just like a little white circle on a screen that doesnt have any direct light at all. do i have to take the entire glass casing out to fix it??

honestly, I cannot help you on this one, I know that at one time, our headlights were adjustable, that was from the factory, however, every headlight I have seen from these cars has the adjuster broken, that's the little gray gear-looking thing on the back of the light, you are supposed to be able to adjust it, but they are all broken, maybe you can do it with your hands.... but I have no clue...... sorry I couldnt be of anymore help

yea i tried that... didnt work.. someone told me that since my cars only running at like 12.5-13 volts that its a possibility thats why the healights are dim. how would i fix that. a new alternator?
