sup mosh.

you wanna what now?

put a 3000gt VR-4 tranny in an eclipse? FWD or AWD?

not that I think it will matter. the half shafts going to the front wheel will be to long. I believe the EVO motors and trannys are "mirrored" from an eclipse, so I don't think that will work without major revisons.

I believe that some serious eclipse people use peices out of the 3000GT trannys for upgrades to the eclipse, but not the whole tranny.

****, you have a guy making dogboxes for eclipses'. why do you want a 3000gt tranny?

wow, insanity at it's best......... lol, a 3g eclipse you mean from 2000 to 2005 right?? the evo motor and awd trans is at least twice as strong as the 3g eclipse, if you really like the body a lot, then spend a lot of money on the transmission that came with it, I dont think it would be easy to make it awd, it's very difficult, and it would cost a fortune, just try and cope with your traction problems........sorry
