Mitsubishi turbo modells have a great ECU. it is very adaptability ! a new full exhaust system without cat. and a turbo boost encrease and a K&N filter is more effective . the ECU change i think is the last thing.

I just affraid off the clutch and manual gearbox what can tolerate :)
What do u think about it ? just because i know this 2 is the weak point of the EVO's !

In all turbo motors the free flow out the turbo is tilevant for power. The first cat ist just out the turbine and "brake" the flow more als the second. The Lancer Evo VIII come in Swiss with 2 cat and when you remove the first you have a gain of 20 CV.
The best think is remove all two cat... :)

About the Digital Tuning, it's a very seriously factory. I know personally the chief.

Ah, nice that they are serious!
I have not yet got answer from them.

I don't think that the the clutch and manual gearbox will cause any problems as long as you don't "race´hard" with it each and every day, I mean, extra power when doing take over and so on won't be a problem.
Allways run hard 0-100km/h and so on maybe is a bad idea :P

I got answer! (with some wrong spelling I guess?(Tourqe))
"Hello,
The result of our modifications is really satisfactory. You’ll get 33 HP and 285 torque more at low speed. With this difference of power and torque your car will have a better acceleration and a maximum speed.

The increase of the performances never reduces the reliability and duration of the car. The car-maker-limits are never passed. Our products are developed on the test-bench by our engineers. After the complete success of our tests we put them on the market.

The consumption at same use decreases of about 3%.

We give a guarantee of 5 years. It consists of:

- developed power and torque,

- installation,

- if you need to bring the car to original, i.e. when you sell it, we will install the original program back again free of charge.

For the installation you should send us the ECU per Courier, because your car does not have any eeprom. We need to reprogram the microprocessor. It is very simple to take the ECU out and to mount it back again. Every garage can do this work. Our technical service grants to modify the ECU and sends it back to you on the same day always per Courier.

The price of the modification with 5 years guarantee is EUR 599 + freight costs.
EDIT:

:trophy: If everything goes as planned here I will send digitaltuning my ECU now on Friday.

If so, they’ll have it on Monday, latest at Tuesday, so I can hopefully tell you all about it in the end of next week! :trophy:

Yes, the ECU was posted last Friday!

ECU Parcel trace:
23 okt kl 18:02
Schweiz, Försändelsen finns nu hos tullen i utlandet för fastställande av eventuell tullavgift. [i]= The parcel is now in the customs to establish possible customs fee

>
24 okt kl 13:12
Schweiz, Försändelsen har sorterats på mottagarlandets utrikesterminal för vidare transport i mottagarlandet. [i]= The parcel is now sorted on the recieving countrys foreign terminal for furthermore transportation in the recieving country

So I'd guess that the ECU reaches digitaltuning today and if it goes as planned it will be programmed today and sent back to me in Sweden with TNT urgent post.
