I went to Discount Tire to buy some larger rims for my 99 eclipse RS and they told me that the largest rims I can have on my car are 14"ers. I'll do whatever it takes to fit bigger rims on. What can I do? Any information would be much appreciated.

Discount Tire does not know what they are talking about. You can go to www.tirerack.com and you can find many wheels that fit on your car, plus you can even see what they look on your car.

Enjoy.

you could probably fit 20's on your car, but that might be pushing it. 18's will definitely fit.

I went to Discount Tires here in Texas and on my 95 Eclipse they told me that I can go with 18 in. rims definitely, 19's would need some adjustments and 20's would probably cause damage to not only the tire but my fender as well.

I used to work for Discount Tire, and I can't say I ever had a problem trying 18" rims on a 2G Eclipse...I think the place you went to are a bunch of retards.

I work at gotwheelsandtires.com and I also own a 2006 eclipse I have 19" on mine and if you don't lower your you should be able to put 19" also. I would stick to 19" thou because tires are cheap and it's a nicer more comfortable ride.Attached Image
