I am not sure about what it islike in the states, but the higher of the two price tags corresponds to what we are looking at here (Canada) for a nice STI... and I read somwhere that these new evo will outperform the subaru...

it's a nice car.....but no clutch it's just not the same. If it was a regular 6 speed I would consider getting it one day.

well it will be a dsg style tranny.meaning it will be similar to the vw.this is how it works.tranny one has 1,3,5 gears and tranny two has 2,4,6 gears.so when tranny one is in 1 tranny two prepares 2 gear to engage when its time to.so ther will be no power interruption between shift and will be faster then someone manually shifting.now the auto tranny is far from this one it may seem similar but its not.
but seems now that there will be both options for the x.hence the retail price change on the options.now i think mitsu may not sell too high to competition from subaru.they have good cars but ugly and theirs cars are in the same line so the x cant be that high.but since new technology its in then it may go high maybe to the 40.

so it looks like the x will have 295hp and 300 ft lbs of torque.according to the site the list price is at 35k.
