Cool. I have a 1993 Plymouth Colt Vista and I have been studying turboing it too. Mine already has AWD and a rear LSD so I'm thinking engine, harness, ecu, fuel pump from a 2g eclipse turbo. Just a stock engine swap to make things simple. What parts will not be a direct swap? And how can they be adapted?

Depending on your budget . you could probably do the same thing I'm doing , i.e. to keep the stock bottom end and add the turbo on this engine. The 4G64 with OEM NA piston is not as strong as a 4G63, but it can handle 10-11 psi on a daily basis. I have a friend who is running a plain 4G64 with a 16G @ 10 psi for at least two years now without any problem. Another friend did pretty much the same setup but on an NA 4G63 with a T25. The key it's just to play on the safe side. Things could turn bad if you're not monitoring what your doing and tuning like the regular Joe Blow. And with a T-25, I'm too much concern about over boosting the setup. Since we can say that the T25 @ 11 psi is putting 200HP on the crank at 8.5:1 on a 2.0, I'm expecting something around 250HP with the 2.4 @ 9.5:1. If I can make the 1/4 mile in the mid -14, I will be more than happy and will have a killer sleeper. My goal is to get it in the mid-14 for less than 1200$US. I've paid the van 200$ that's in pretty good shape. Severals friend gave me old stuff from their DSM . So far I'm on my target and I have pretty much all I need.
