Have you checked your spark plugs to see what condition they are in? Have you checked your distributor and spark plug wires for fouling conectors?

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/spar...aq/faqread2.asp

Here's info on changing out you sparkplugs:

Hope this helps,

check spark.
check fuel.
check compression.

if one of those is missing, that's what you need to fix.

If the rest of the cylinders are working then your fuel should be fine unless the intake valve (fuel) for that cylinder's not working. Do you see black smoke coming from your exhaust? Do you smell fuel when the engine's running? I don't know about checking the fuel line because that thing's under pressure. You may want to check your spark and compression first since you have to remove the plenum to do both, but check the front three first.

you should be able to plumb in a fuel pressure gauge somewhere in the line. that you can check. probably by the fuel filter would be easiest.

Also, you may have a bad injector. you can send it to cruisinperformance and have it checked for about 15 bucks, plus shipping. I have the website somewhere... or just search google. it should come up. that is the best way to check injectors, I believe.

I'd run the compression test first. also, change your plugs. they're cheap. so why not.

do you know which cylinder it is? you can pull plug wires one at a time until you find this out.

then find out if that cylinder has good spark.

do what ttangel says, or you can pull the injector clips off of the front 3 injectors, and pull them off 1 by 1 with the car running and see if the motor changes at all by each one, if it doesnt change with one, then you know that cylinder is dead, then figure out why........ if it's not one of the front 3 cylinders, good luck...... lol, but it's doable, not that difficult, just a bit time consuming.... has your timing belt ever skipped a tooth?? or more? do a compression test and a cylinder leakdown test, they are very very helpful, also, if you have access to a logger, you can check the injectors one by one
